USS Constitution 1797

Perfetta riproduzione della più famosa nave americana soprannominata: Old Iron Sides. Fu varata il 21 Ottobre 1797 a Boston, con un lunghissimo varo, iniziato il 20 Settembre; ai nostri giorni il Costitution fa bella mostra di se nello stesso porto di Boston. Lo scafo è rivestito in noce, può essere coperto con le piasre in rame. Fregi di prua, specchiera di poppa e giardinetti fusi in metallo; ancore, cannoni e accessori in metallo; bigotte, bozzelli in legno. Disegni dettgliati in varie tavole con istruzioni in italiano.

USS Constitution 1797, 1:98 wooden boat kit

Lovely scale model of the American ship 'Constitution'. After two abortive attempts, she was finally launched on 31st December 1797. She became known as 'Old Irensides' and continued in service until 1897 when she was towed back to the scene of her launching in Boston, where she remains as a museum.
Plank on frame construction, the kit containsbuilding plans with english instructions, walnut or lime planking, lost wax castings, wooden masts and spars, brass and walnut fittings, etched brass details, rigging cord and flag. All plywood parts are laser cut for accuracy.
Model not equipped with sails, available for purchase separately.
